Armenian defense minister receives newly appointed Czech ambassador
Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan received today newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia Bedřich Kopecký.
The defense minister congratulated Ambassador Kopecký on assuming the mission, wished him success and emphasized that there is great potential to expand the spheres of partnership following the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the military-technical sector by the defense ministers of Armenia and the Czech Republic in Yerevan in April of this year.
Ambassador Kopecký expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and the high appreciation of cooperation in the defense sector and assured that the Czech Republic is ready to continue enhancing the cooperation within the framework of the agreements reached between the defense ministers of the two countries.
Issues related to regional security were also discussed during the meeting.
