Mr.Nikolay Bordiuzha: ‘A representative of the Republic of Armenia will become a new Secretary General of CSTO’

‘The name of the new CSTO Secretary General will be unveiled at the CSTO Collective Secuirty Council session that is due to take place on October 14, 2016 in Yerevan. It is known now that the new Secretary General will be a representative of Armenia’, communicated Mr. Bordiuzha, the outgoing Secretary General of CSTO.

‘A representative of Armenia will take up a post of CSTO Secretary General as my successor. I cannot give out his name at the present moment, his name will be unveiled in the course of the coming session of the CSTO Collective Security Council that will be held on the presidential level in Yerevan’, remarked Mr. Bordiuzha.

One of the CSTO Collective Security Council programme events will be First International Exhibition of Arms and Defence Technologies, ArmHiTec 2016. The exhibition will take place from 13 to 15 October, 2016 in Yerevan.

Special guests, among them heads of defence and law enforcement agencies, as well as defence, homeland and external security experts will have a chance to appreciate the goods and manufacture of the defence-industrial (military-industrial) complex of the Republic of Armenia, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan and a number of other states.
