Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic plan to develop military-technical cooperation

Fostering cooperation was the primary goal of the working meeting of the Ministers of Defence of the two countries, the Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic.

In the course of the meeting the parties discussed preparations of the draft agreement on military-technical cooperation between Armenia the Czech Republic. The RA Ministry of Defence press-office communicated that the Parties touched upon the implementation of the protocol of the second session of the Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission that concerns the cooperation of enterprises and companies in the economic and military-technical cooperation as well as assistance in this regard to the organizations and institutions. The discussions touched upon the perspective of establishment of the working group to deal with the issues of military-technical cooperation within the framework of the Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission.

The delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic was received by the Deputy Minister of Defence Mr.David Pakhchanyan as well as by Head of the Defence Policy Department Mr.Levon Ayvazyan.

The exchange of views as well as the outcomes of the discussions on the abovementioned issues were reflected in the protocol summarizing the results of the summit meeting.
